Alliant Insurance names trio of vice presidents across three states

Gunter brings over two decades of industry experience into her new role, having worked as the senior vice president at a global insurance brokerage and employee benefits consulting firm. She has built expertise in employee benefits, insurance, compliance, and administration outsourcing solutions.

“Kristen’s broad skill set and unique background enables her to take a wide-angle, holistic approach to the benefits landscape,” said Alliant employee benefits president Kevin Overbey of the company’s newest hire. “She thinks strategically and knows how to build and grow relationships that stand the test of time.”

Apart from the new hire to Alliant Employee Benefits, the insurer welcomed Franson as vice president in Dubuque, Iowa, earlier this week. Franson was tasked to provide comprehensive property and casualty insurance and risk management solutions to Alliant’s clients across the Midwest.

“[Franson] combines his longstanding experience in the Midwest region with keen, industry-specific expertise, offering clients customized solutions built for their business,” said Bob Bennetsen, Alliant’s executive vice president and senior managing director. “He sees beyond basic business risks and can help clients prepare for long-term growth and success.”

Buchan was also named an Alliant vice president last week. Based in Seattle, Buchan would handle providing solutions to the company’s growing client base in the Northwest region.

On Buchan’s appointment, Bennetsen said: “Aran’s ability to assess risks, pinpoint potential issues, and develop viable solutions that provide maximum protection at an acceptable cost makes him a powerful partner for his clients. [He brings] a great deal of strength to our team in the Northwest.”
